Cooper's First Bath

Cooper's umbilical cord FINALLY fell off so he had his first real bath today. He loved it!!

Jon thought it was a good idea to dress Cooper up like a ghost....I'm not so sure Cooper enjoyed it!! We spent the night at home handing out candy to little kids...some of which were quite demanding I might add. Boy has our life changed....our Halloween experiences of the past have been a little different....to say the least.

More Visitors!!

Thanks again Maurine for the pumpkin, chocolate chip muffins...my mom & I polished off the entire batch no problem, they were delicious!

Cooper is meeting all sorts of people!! Melissa came by and brought him a cute, little cuddle blanket with an owl on it. Thanks Melissa!!

Weight Update

This is Cooper's friend Joe, who is 3 months old. Look at the difference in size!!! Joe's mom Maurine obviously knows how to feed a little one right. Cooper is heading down the same road!

There is nothing I love more than fat babies!!! Cooper went to the doctor last week and has already put on a good amount of weight. He lost weight at first (down to 5 lbs. & 9 oz) but at our doctor's visit this past Friday...he was up to 6 lbs. & 7 oz!!! This pic sums up his life in nutshell...so cute! He sleeps, eats, poops all day long....in a comfortable position.

Pumpkin Carving

We had a fun, little pumpkin carving session last night. Jill & Jonathan came over and brought carving kits with them. Of course it turned out to be more complicated then we originally anticipated but we kept on going creating real works of art. Cooper slept through the entire thing....of course!

Grandma Janet's Visit

My mom arrived this past Monday and has been a tremendous help!! The first thing I said to her upon her arrival was "how on earth did you do this eight times"!??!? She is super woman, there is no doubt in my mind. She leaves on the 30th...I'll be sad to see her go :(

Born a sports fan....like father, like son...

Delucia gave Cooper this...just in time for Monday night football. New England killed Denver, must have been Coop's supportive attire.

Jon is very excited to watch the Sox play tonight with Cooper....can you tell? Just to give you an idea of Cooper's size...this outfit fits on a teddy bear. GO SOX!

Cooper Burke Show is FINALLY here!!!

After 38 hours of labor...our precious, little Cooper Burke entered our world on October 13th. I know we're biased but we think he is the cutest thing that we've ever seen. He weighed in at 6 pounds, 1 ounce & is 19 inches long and is healthy & so far seems happy. Both mom & dad are exhausted but so excited to have Cooper here. Auntie Jill & Jonathan have come by a couple times to see him and Burke & Melinda are on their way down tonight. Check back tomorrow for more pics!
