Another week in the life of Cooper

It was a pretty mellow week...a short one which was great!

Jon & I got a new wake board, which we're anxious to get out on the lake.
Cooper is warming it up for us.

Cooper is all over the place these days crawling & pulling himself up on everything. His favorite thing to do is crawl away and then prop himself up & look at us for approval, it's really cute!

Cooper's favorite playmate is his dad....they're such cute buddies.

Jon...a bride to be?

Jon knocked down a few of the bridesmaids & elbowed a couple other single ladies....just so he could catch the bouquet. WOW...I don't know what to say really....this pic pretty much sums it up. Actually, my favorite part about this pic is Jon's capri tux pants. They evidently screwed up his measurements...it was so much fun to see his ankles all night long :)

Uncle Matt got married!!!!!!!

We spent the past weekend in Connecticut to celebrate Jon's brother's wedding. It was a ton of fun and we got to see a lot of family and meet some wonderful family friends. Uncle Chris drove down from Lake Placid to babysit...it was so great to see him. Below are a few pics...

Uncle Matt LOVED the baby bjorn...I'm pretty sure Matt would like to be carried around in a baby bjorn.

Aunt Jessica is so good with Cooper...he loves her.

At the rehearsal dinner...such a pretty sunset.

Chris is so huge...SO HUGE these days!!!!!

Jessica looked like a princess...she is one of the prettiest brides I've ever seen. Matt didn't look too shabby himself.

Grandma & Grandpa Fogt's Visit

My parents came out for a visit last week and we had a blast! I really wished we lived closer...they just love little Cooper to pieces and enjoy hanging out with him all day.

Grandma Janet and the little guy

My dad is already getting Cooper ready for soccer

This is during their dance party one afternoon. Cooper was laughing so hard he could barely breath. My dad had him moving all over the place, it was hilarious.

I guess they both got the same memo regarding their shirts...

The happy grandmothers....

Happy Mother's Day

My first mother's day was perfect. We spent the day up at the lake with Jon's parents and Melinda & I ate a sinful, blissful chocolate pudding cake all morning and drank mimosas. We then spent the after lounging on the deck & at the pool...dreamy. Jon couldn't have been more thoughtful; he made us fresh lobster rolls & wrote me the sweetest card "from Cooper". My mom arrives on Tuesday for five days, I'm so excited!!!! All I have to say is MOMS ROCK!

First dip in the lake

Jon's parents live on Lake Norman and Jon took Cooper out in the water for the first time today. The lake is already at 75 degrees and it was well over 80 today...such a perfect day! Cooper LOVED the water.

Isn't this float cool....thank you Grandma M!!!!!

Cooper was laughing so hard...I wish I would have gotten close to capture his face.

This is Jon saying "are you really going to stay dry all day"??

Balloons Everywhere!!

Matt (Jon's brother) sent Grandpa Burke a ton of balloons to help cheer up his recovery. Cooper has also found the balloons to be cheerful!!!!!

Busy.....busy....busy

Work has been nuts so I've been a slacker!! Below are a few pics from the other day. Cooper is now sitting by himself (still falling over occasionally) and is on the verge of crawling. He has two front teeth and I'm not looking forward to another year & a half of more teeth....lots of drooling. He makes us laugh every day, I really love this phase. He'll be seven months next week!!!!

I hope he quits this by the time he's a teenager. I find it really cute now.

Big stretch....

You can see his two front teeth if you look closely.

Hello blue eyes....

It took two weeks of constant pilates for Cooper to master this pose.
