Pool Boy

Cooper and I have spent a lot of time at pools this summer. To his credit, he's only pooped in two of them. We started the spring with the Norwegian Buttcrack Princess (a tall thin European woman who came to the Y pool for a couple weeks in May with her butt crack showing), moved on to various feuds with the lifeguards (the bar bouncers of the summer), and had approximately half a dozen buckets stolen from the splash pool. I'm tired of carrying his stuff so I turned his Lego wagon into a pool wagon.

Visit from Granma & Granba

My folks came into town for 10 days...we had a blast! We spent a couple days in Asheville and then headed down to Ft. Benning for a few days to hang out with Chris before he shipped out to Iraq :(. Chris is doing well, he's been emailing us quite a bit which is so nice!! I know my post are not nearly as exciting or entertaining as Jon's so I'll keep it short!!

Cooper & I were already in bed but this is my dad's brother & his family + Jill, Chris & mom.

Cooper after a rain storm...at least he didn't try to drink the water.

He made quite the seen in Asheville dancing with a lot of soul.

Grease Monkey

Cooper has become quite the mechanic. Here he is trying to pump up the axle bolt on my bike. He's very concerned about maintaining the proper tire pressure. This photo was taken 30 minutes after an old biddy nearly killed us when she opened her car door as we rode by her going about 10 mph. Take note parents...if you're riding to the bagel shop, never take the route that goes by the craft store. Biddies have been sent here from another world to slowly eradicate us through a series of unfortunate "accidents" in parking lots near craft stores.

Mama Mia

Michelle's out of town this week for a couple days so Cooper and I spent another week in Man Town. We cruised the mall in the early morning hours and for some reason, Cooper stopped in front of a nude, headless mannequin inside the Banana Republic, pointed, and yelled, "MAMA!"
